Once upon a time in the Pacific Northwest lived 3 Fashionistas...

Picture
Three friends move to the next chapter of their lives and realize the need to consolidate their items.  Knowing that they are not alone, they set out on a mission to create a stylish pop-up shop called the Urban Girl’s Garage Sale for a safe, fun, place where women can sell their clothes, shoes, furniture and other treasures.

Zong’s Story: Seattle Fashionista Goes to War
Zong is a professional and entrepreneurial fashionista by day and a warrior by night. A long-time reservist,  Zong is leaving Seattle this spring for a deployment to Afghanistan with the Army Reserves for a year.  As the date quickly arrives, she realizes the luxury of her walk-in closet will no longer be an option and that the unworn pieces, with tags still attached have nowhere to go.

Darcy Camden’s Story: Seattle Fashionista takes her business to the next level
Darcy
is the owner of Styled. Seattle, a full-service fashion consulting business.  With over  6 years in the industry and having worked with many clients, she has managed to collect more than just a few keepsakes.  As she is growing her business she realizes that the racks of outfits, shoes, and accessories in her office may need a new home.

Darnell Sue's Story:  Bellevue Fashionista changes course in career and life
Darnell is the Founder of Girl Power Hour, a women’s networking events, lifestyle blogs and other cool resources.  She currently stands at a turning point in her professional and personal life with decisions that could lead to living abroad part-time. With so many decisions afoot she realized that wherever she’s headed her collection of shoes and endless cocktail dresses no longer have a place.

They lived happily ever after...
While the three were texting back and forth about their situations, they decided a garage sale was in order. But as urban condo dwelling city girls, neither had a garage. What to do? Serial entrepreneurs, they decided to create something new and unlike the garage sales of generations past and to involve a local charity.   Right then and there via iphones to iphones -  the concept of the Urban Girls Garage Sale was born; a place where women could gather to sell their goods in a fun environment and be with their friends...over a little wine of course.

The first ever Urban Girl Garage Sale will happen in March 17, 2013 in Seattle.
